In a massive push to position Pakistan as a leading hub in the global GameFi and decentralized internet sectors, the National Technology Fund (Ignite), under the Ministry of IT & Telecom, has inaugurated a $50 Million Web3 and Gaming Startup Accelerator in Lahore.
The state-of-the-art facility, housed within the newly expanded Lahore Knowledge Park, aims to incubate over 100 high-growth startups annually.
Bridging the Gap in Digital Assets
Pakistan already possesses a massive, youthful demographic highly engaged in esports, as recently formalized by the National Esports Policy. However, translating this consumer engagement into production and development has historically been hampered by a lack of access to venture capital and high-end infrastructure.
“We are moving past basic freelancing and BPO. This accelerator provides direct seed funding, mentorship from global gaming studios, and enterprise-grade computing resources to our most brilliant developers,” said the CEO of Ignite during the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Startups accepted into the cohort will receive initial seed funding of up to $150,000, alongside subsidized access to high-performance cloud infrastructure.
